Just the other day I brought a buyer and seller together with a signed purchase and sale agreement for a lovely inn in Bar Harbor.
After I sent over a copy of the ratified contract to the buyer, the image below appeared in the body of their response email and it just made me smile.
Their excitement makes me feel really content as their broker. And as a former innkeeper, I know very well what they’re going through. Also funny, when I informed them that the seller accepted their last counter offer, the text I received read “OH MY GOD!!!!!” and I recall that feeling when our broker told us back in 2004 that our offer had been accepted.
Later that day, the fist pump emoticon was exchanged in our texts! Despite the sometimes difficult road of brokerage, it’s nice sharing our clients’ emotions.
